Cedar Mountain Solar, LLC, was formed in 2004 by joining the expertise and services of several existing companies already specializing in renewable energy. Combining these companies created a unique offering of integrated design, construction, and service under one roof.
Those companies were:
• Bristol Stickney Consulting, a designer of solar hydronic (radiant floor and baseboard) heating systems.
• Golden Sun Solar, a business focused on the construction, service, and repair of solar heating and hot water systems.
• Olson Plumbing and Heating, which joined Cedar Mountain Solar in August of 2005, with six years experience in implementation of hydronic heating systems.

Cedar Mountain Solar, a licensed mechanical contracting company, provides an all-in-one solution for design and construction of complete solar heating systems. With more than 60 years of combined experience Cedar Mountain Solar Systems has refined solar heating design and innovated advances in installation that have taken solar heating from pioneering to practical and ready for mainstream use. Ongoing training for our staff keeps them abreast of industry changes, trends in design, and technical details of specific products involving their installation and calibration. The Design-Build Difference

We install your solar heating system from beginning to end, including solar collectors, boiler, domestic hot water tank, radiant floor tubing and other heat distribution equipment, thermostats and controls. Our quality workmanship is supported by comprehensive design, which includes "Construction" and "As-Built" wiring and piping schematics, solar collector layouts and mounting details, heat distribution diagrams, economic analysis and "Energy-10" computer simulations using real weather data to model thermal performance for your building. Many system components are preassembled in-shop minimizing disruption on-site.

These measures ensure that all design concepts are integrated in installation. After the system is installed, our work is not finished. "System Commissioning" upon completion of installation ensures that every component is properly installed and programmed. We also provide a thorough system operating manual and walk-through. Systems are supported by a two-year warranty on workmanship. We also offer maintenance contracts to provide preventative maintenance, reducing system downtime and emergency calls.
